An afternoon at the zoo

Yesterday was a beautiful Sunday so we decided after church to go get some lunch & then walk around the zoo. We usually have small group on Sunday afternoons, but a few of the couples were out of town so no group.

We started off with some lunch at a mexican restaurant. It was pretty good & we won a free dessert from the scratch off ticket that waitress gave us.

We chose the pecan brownie with ice cream & a brandy butter sauce...YUM!

Graysen loves the red pandas because they are also from China...probably not this one...LOL.

Watching the elephants...he likes their loooong noses

This swinging monkey stayed close to the window & kept playing hide and seek with us.

Ashley liked the monkey too

No nap was catching up to him & he decided being on Baba's shoulders would be nice
