Undecided & Going Crazy!

I know I started telling everyone that we were ready to start our next adoption & we did send in our application & fee, but things have changed some since then. I haven't felt the pull to China like I had before we adopted Graysen. I have become more relaxed in my idea of adopting from another country. Africa has been on my mind lately. I have tried to shake it because I figured it was just a reaction to the newest little cutie that arrived at our church to a wonderful family. Or the start of a family member's adoption, or our wonderful neighbor's that have a little boy from there. I react so emotionally to any story of orphans in another country or missionary work that I have been just ignoring my feelings.

Because of my inability to make a decision, we have decided to wait until after the summer is over to really decide what we are going to do. We are going to pray about it, take a family vacation & really give Graysen all the attention he deserves before he is no longer the baby in the family. We also are planning on having Graysen's fistula (small hole) in his palate repaired this summer. So with this all going on, the thought of chasing paperwork for our dossier & of course deciding what area to adopt from, we are currently ON HOLD. It is in all caps because it feels like a heavy thing on my mind. I am so used to constantly looking at the waiting children that I torture myself all the time & need to remind myself that we are ON HOLD.

So that is the latest & I will try my best to not change my mind when the newest SN list comes out next Wed. I will just keep praying for God to direct me where we are to go. I just know that he is not done with us in the adoption world and I can't wait to love and see the growth of another little Turley!

Blessings,
Tracey

No harm in waiting to hear from God!
