Update on Jaxon

After over a month we finally got our update on Jaxon that we requested. I pasted it here to share. We are concerned about the statement that he may need a 2nd repair because of the lip wound cracking. This update should be current, but the surgery was done almost a year ago, so we have asked our agency to try to get us current pictures. I would like to see for myself what they are describing here. Plus I want so desperately to see what our son looks like now!

a.       Updated measurements

Height: 31.52 inches weight: 24.2 lbs head size: 19.30 inches
Chest size: 18.12 inches foot length: 5.12 inches teeth number: 8/8

b.      Updated paragraph about development

He was sent to foster family to care on 3-19-2009. His physical development has good progress since he was living in foster family. He has never been ill. He has good eating and sleeping routine. He could walk, run, go up and down stairs. He could play toys by himself. He could feed himself. His intellectual development is also good. He was given cleft lip surgery in July, 2010. His cleft lip needs the second surgery because he always touches the wound, the lip wound cracks again.

c. Updated photo I haven’t received his photo. I will follow up on this.

d. What are his favorite toys? He likes all kinds of toys.

e. What are his favorite foods? He is not a picky. He likes all kinds of foods.

f. How does he like to sleep? He falls asleep quickly. He goes to sleep at 20:00.

g. What comforts him when he is upset? Giving him foods or toys

h. Has he had any surgeries? Yes, he was given repair cleft lip surgery in July, 2010

Please pray with me that he is getting proper care and that this concern with his lip turns out to be a minor thing.

Blessings,
Tracey

How neat that we both have children from Liaoning and Guizhou! :)

The foster care network in Guiyang is WONDERFUL, btw! I pray you get an update on his lip soon and everything goes smoothly on your trip.
