We finally got our updated pics that our agency has been requesting for a LONG time! Their persistence paid off. As I have mentioned before our referral pics of Graysen were from when he was 1 1/2yrs old & didn't see another pic til he was 2yrs old. I had a shock moment when I realized that he had grown & was no longer a little guy. I had the same reaction this time with Jaxon. I have been falling in love with a picture of our son from when he was 11mos old since July! To see him at 2yrs old is shocking to me & somewhat sad that I have missed those beginning years. I am overjoyed to have the new pics & think he is so cute! I am glad these came now & I didn't get this "shock" when I met him on Gotcha Day in China.




I am concerned about the left side of his scar as it appears to be "caved" in. Our update mentioned that it had "cracked" due to him messing with it. They are supposed to put "No-No's" on him that would have prevented him from bending his elbows & messing with it. We were going to have Graysen's next surgery in August, but Jaxon might have to take priority. We will see. I am going to email these photos to our surgeon for him to review.


We are still waiting on our Article 5 which is the next step. This is a document the consulate issues to our agency stating that all of our immigration approvals are up to date and we are approved to adopt Jaxon. Once we have this then our agency can begin working on our Travel Approval. This usually takes about 2-3wks to receive.
