Well we had hoped to travel June 9th, but the consulate appts were all booked up so we were bumped to the following week. We now leave June 16th & will return June 30th. Our itinerary looks like this:

June 16(My Dad's Birthday) - Fly from Knoxville to Newark, then Newark to Beijing

June 17 - Arrive in Beijing and check into Poly Plaza hotel

June 18 - Tour Great Wall, Forbidden City & Tian An Men Square

June 19 (Father's Day) - 7:45am Fly to Guiyang (Jax's city), Check into the Sheraton.
4:30pm Go to Civil Affairs Bureau to get Hua Guo Hai aka Jaxon!!!!!

June 20 - Adoption Day! Hua Guo Hai becomes Jaxon Eli Hua!!!!

June 21 - Shopping

June 22 - Tour to Qianling Park

June 24 - Get Jaxon's Passport & fly that evening to Guangzhou & White Swan Hotel

June 25 - Take Jaxon for his TB Test & free day

June 26 - Tour Chen Family Temple

June 27 - Get Jaxon's Visa photo & Medical Exam done

June 28 - Consulate Appointment & Oath-taking Ceremony

June 29 - Pick up Visa, Take a train to Hong Kong, Stay at Marriott SkyCity Hotel

June 30 - Fly home to TN!!! We should arrive 9pm if anyone wants to be there!

We are so excited to finally have our itinerary & everything booked! Now we are busy finishing up the last of the stuff on our list. I don't anticipate any problems updating this blog or my facebook while in China. Remember we are going to be 13hrs ahead of everyone back home.

Please remember to pray for us as this will be a traumatic experience for Jaxon. He is leaving the only family he has known for the past 2 1/2yrs. Aaron, Ashley & I have done this before, but this will be a first time for Graysen. We pray he enjoys it & bonds with Jaxon.

   OMG...I just stumbled back to your blog!!!!! Can't believe that it is finally time to go!!! 3 days away.....Can you bring back an extra girl or boy for us???? There's room for one or two more at our house. We will be praying for you...and as we live just up the street...hopefully we will see you around...very very soon!! Ann and Johnny
