We are gathering the last of the things we need to pack & have converted the dining room into a packing station. To anyone that didn't know that we were going to China, it would appear we are slobs or hoarders. We leave out super early in the morning on Thursday & will be traveling that entire day! We fly from here to Newark & then on to Beijing. The Beijing flight alone will be just over 13hrs! We will keep this blog & my FB updated as much as the internet allows over there. Remember that we will be 12hrs ahead of everyone back home.
We have done a slight spelling change in our son's name. It is now Jaxen Eli Hua. Just for future reference. We get Jaxen on Father's Day at 4:30pm Guiyang time. This is 4:30am Father's Day for all of you back home. So when you wake up & are heading to church, please say a prayer for us as we will be holding our new son in our arms!
Blessings,
Tracey

Praying for you guys as you prepare to travel early Thursday morning and for an easy transition on Gotcha Day. What an amazing Father's Day present! Can't wait to follow your journey to Jaxen!

Looking forward to seeing you in Guangzhou!! You won't be able to miss us with a blonde Chinese girl and a 4 year old who doesn't stop talking, and their giant redneck dad ;)
I'm just so excited for you guys. Lots of prayers for energy during this trip. Stay safe and enjoy that little boy!
