Well we are leaving Guangzhou today at 5pm (5am your time). We are taking a train to Hong Kong & staying there for the night. Early the next morning we will get on our LONG flight to Newark & then after a layover we will head to Knoxville! We are so ready to be home & at the same time NOT looking forward to what our wild boys have in store for us on the long plane ride! We have enjoyed our time on Shamian Island. We love how clean & nice it is. We love how safe it feels here. We have done a lot of shopping, eating & walking. We took a tour of the "new" part of Guangzhou in the business district & at the Chen Family Museum where we got Jax's scroll & chop(stamp) that is an ox for his birth year & has his Chinese name on it.
We are packing up this morning, eating lunch at Lucy's, putting the boys down for a nap & then heading to the train station. Never been to Hong Kong, so excited about being there even if it is for a short time. Really looking forward to hearing more English. Here are some pics from the past few days here on the island.
